COTTAGE PLANK DOORS
J W Faulding have been manufacturing these traditional Cottage Plank Doors for many years.
Made in our own workshops, all our doors are unique, using top quality European Oak with butt beaded planks and 3 battens on the back. They are glued and fastened with Rosehead nails, clenched at the back, for a truly traditional look.
• All the character of solid European Oak.
• Random width, tongue and groove boards.
• Boards have butt beaded edges for added character
• Rolled moulded edges on the battens to the rear.
• Fastened with traditional British hand made Rosehead nails.
• Can be custom made to order to any size.
• Supplied unfinished or oiled
• Ideally finish with J W Faulding’s Danish Oil to enhance the appearance of the woodgrain.
• Hand forged ironmongery can also be supplied, hinges, thumb latches etc
Cottage Plank doors can also be manufactured in our distressed and manor grade oak to match the flooring - price on application.
