JW Faulding & Sons are proud of their heritage as a reputable family firm that has been part of the local community of North Lincolnshire since 1560. Diversifying from farming in 2000, brothers Simon and Richard have worked hard to build up an equally comparable reputation in the oak business selling fine quality oak flooring, furniture and related products.

The recognition of the beautiful qualities of oak arose as Richard and Simon restored more and more land back to nature; particularly the planting of 120 acres of woodland. This included hardwoods mainly oak and ash, plus some softwood varieties and coppice and further planting is expected in the future on the old wartime airfield at Goxhill. The coppiced willow provides a renewable energy source for a nearby.

The young hardwood trees will not see maturity until the next generations of Fauldings’, when they can become a source of timber. In the meantime they are a natural habitat for wildlife and a contribution to the ecology of the area. They have also created a number of ponds as a haven for a wide variety of wildlife.
